July 8th, 2006 was the dinner party to honor the anniversary.
Here are a few of the many photos taken of the dinner party.
As with any event of this nature, many people volunteered a lot of
time to make it happen. We would like to give some credit to those that
did so much. Many others helped behind the scenes too.

The California Old Time Fiddlers provided great entertainment.

The set up was done in the heat of the afternoon and it looked
so peaceful.

This motley crew is from the Knights of Columbus # 9836, at
St. Christopher's in Galt. l. to r. Nick Neuburger, Jack Kasper, Joe
Schaffhausen and John Bordie the Grandknight. They are behind the barrels
of cooking steaks. Great job, thanks.

The wonderful Tri-tip steak was sliced by Ted Melhaff.

These student from Boy Scouts, FFA and member's family were wonderful
servers. (l. to r.) Eric Leddy, Shane McCutcheon, Chis Leddy, Josh
O'Hara, Andrea Hanchey, Samantha Hanchey, Brandon Denier, Kathryn Salfen,
Jessica Chamberlain, Ryan Denier. Thanks for great service.

From the FFA # 94 at Galt High School were (l. to r.) Kathryn
Salfen (17) and Jessica Chamberlain (16). They were so dedicated and proud
to wear the FFA jacket in the sweltering heat. Those smiles seemed to last
the whole evening.

Donna Beeler, Kristina Cagle (14), Erma Wyatt and our own
Aderian Hutson represented Great grandmother, two sisters and the great
granddaughter. Kristina was so pretty in her summer dress. We have
many such wonderful families in the historical society.
