Davy Crosier (7) said, "This is very fun, especially the food. I found an egg in the hen house and made an egg omelette with a raw egg."
Bob Biederman and Louise Keser are handing out mosquito repellent. Bob is on the County of Sacramento board of mosquitos.

The servers for the dinner were provided by the Youth Committee. l. to r. back row, John Johnson (15), Magaly Martin (13), Elizabeth Martin (16), Lizette Muniz (17). Front row, Shay Johnson (14), Mikayla Tabor (12) and Celeste Muniz (14). These students did a great job of serving. City Council Members honored for supporting the society.
Center, Barbara Payne (Councilwoman) and on the right is James Dunn. James is home on leave from the Marines. He is going to be stationed in Fresno, CA and then on to college.

The dinner was catered in by Squeeze Inn of Sacramento. They are planning to open a similar restaurant in Galt later this year.

Grace Malson took up a collection for tips for the servers. Here they have just been recognized and thanked by Genie Olson. Shay is speaking now, but they all got a turn on the mic. saying thanks. |
